Frequently Asked Questions

Can you locate someone from my past?
The more information you have on the person can increase
the odds in locating them. Their exact date of birth, social
security number and/or complete last known address is most
helpful but we have found people often with nothing more than
an unusual name. Due to privacy issues, we have to get
permission from the person located for you to contact them
directly.

What will it cost me to have a person "checked out"?
Investigative searches require a variety of ingredients specific
to each individual case. First consider if you would like the
“insurance” of knowing exactly who you are dealing with in
your personal and professional affairs. Then we must
determine what level of investigation is required. To establish
an accurate estimate, we first request all details of the case,
then draft up a timeline and budget to meet those needs. If
you need a background check on a low-level employee, you
may only wish to research their criminal, driving and credit
records. However, if you require extensive research on a high-
level executive, you may need to dig deeper. We will be able
to perform complete or partial background checks given your
specific needs. For assignments such as surveillance, we bill
an hourly rate. Once the estimate has been agreed, we then
require a retainer to begin the operation.  For an accurate
quote, please contact our office at 954-523-8737 or fill out the
form on this site. Consultations and advice regarding your
case are confidential and free of charge.

How quickly can you get started on my investigation and
what is your payment policy?
Normally we begin the assignment the same day we receive
your instructions and deposit. We accept cash, check or
money order, which can be mailed, express mailed or brought
to our offices. We provide refunds of any unused monies.

Why shouldn't I just do my own investigating and save
the money?
No matter how many hours you spend trying to find necessary
information, you do not have access to the protected sources
of information available to our trained professional
investigators.  Additionally, take for example a surveillance
investigation--non-professionals can unintentionally “spook”
the subject.  If this happens, it requires extraordinary efforts
and more money to finally turn over the case to professionals.
More importantly, the courts will perceive the person as a
stalker and may issue a restraining order prohibiting further
contact with the subject.  If needed, we will testify in court
proceedings as to our findings.

Do you require a contract and retainer?
Yes, you will need to sign a contract for retaining our services.
You will be advised of the amount required at the time of your
initial consultation. The retainer amount will reflect the type of
investigation.

Do you keep our information confidential?
Yes, absolutely. No information will be given to anyone but
yourself and to your designated representative (family
member, friend, or legal representative). Confidentiality is vital
in our work. Without your consent, law enforcement authorities
are not even privy to the information we gather for your case.

If I have someone investigated or followed, will that
person ever find out that I was responsible for it?
While no responsible investigator would ever guarantee 100%
that the subject will not see or hear something that might
indicate that he/she is being scrutinized, we assure clients that
experience truly makes the difference. Even in a worst case
scenario, the identity of our clients is protected at all costs.

Are there any guarantees in an investigation?
We cannot guarantee results. However, we do guarantee
every investigation will be done ethically and to the best of the
investigator’s ability. Investigators keep a detailed log of
his/her time and activities to explain all expenses. In regards to
surveillance, we cannot make the individual(s) act or perform
as hoped or to have an incident to occur.

Is your company licensed and insured?
Yes, our company is licensed and insured in the state of
Florida.
